Option 1. In the app — immediately
Open Neerby → Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and all sessions are signed out.
Option 2. Without access to the app
Enter the phone number you used to sign in to Neerby. We will find the account linked to this number and delete it.
Request received. We will delete the account linked to this number.
Please check the phone number and try again.
What is deleted
- your profile and search settings;
- your location data;
- likes, matches, photo-sharing permissions and date plans;
- sign-in data and all active sessions.
Photos and chat messages are stored only on your device; they are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
What may be kept
A record that the deletion took place, your deletion request, and reports other users filed about you may be kept for a limited time to prevent abuse and to prove the request was fulfilled. They are deleted afterwards.
