1. About Neerby
Neerby is a mobile app for meeting people nearby. These terms govern your use of the app. By installing the app and creating an account you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Who can use Neerby
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- One person may have only one account.
- Your profile must be truthful and contain only your own information.
3. What is not allowed
- impersonating another person or creating fake profiles;
- posting other people's photos without permission, or sexually explicit, violent or illegal content;
- harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech, sexual harassment or extortion;
- spam, advertising, scams or requests for money;
- collecting other users' data, or bypassing blocks and restrictions;
- any use of the Service by or involving minors.
4. Reports and moderation
You can report or block any user from their profile. We review reports and may hide a profile, limit features or delete an account that breaks these terms, without prior notice.
5. Meeting safely
We do not verify users' identity and are not responsible for their behaviour outside the app. Meet in public places, tell someone you trust where you are going, and never send money to people you have not met. The date-plan feature helps you share your plans with a trusted contact.
The head-turn check in the app runs on your device and does not verify a person's identity.
6. Your content
You are responsible for the content you add. You allow us to store and display it to other users as needed to provide the Service. Content you delete stops being shown.
7. Paid features
Neerby is currently free and has no paid features. If paid features are introduced, their terms will be shown before purchase.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and error-free but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that you will find a match. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the Service.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the account deletion page. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
